Always have your cell phone near you at night, when you go to bed.
- Many times burglars cut the home phone line when they break in, making it impossilbe for you to call 911.
- This is also a good time to re-charge your cell phone.

- In the event you lose your cell phone or are unconscious from and accident: the police, fire-fighters and emergency first responders will know who you are or who to nitofy.
Vehicles that have a remote to unlock the vehicle door usually have a panic button on them.
- Pressing this can bring attention to your area by neighbors or others.
Always ask for identification when servicemen / workmen come to your home.
- It's always a good idea to validate who is in your home.
- It's a good idea to be talking on the phone to a friend or family member while you are checking on a service worker's ID. Make surethe person you are talking to is aware of what is going on.
At least once a year, you and your familoy should take a Self-Defense Workshop. You change the oil in your vehicle periodically.
