Always check in the vback set of your car to make sure no one is in your car.

  • Many abductions occur from someone hiding in the back seat

When approaching your vehicle, look to see if anyone is hiding underneath it.

  • Someone hiding underneath your car can grab you as you get in.

Be cautious if a van or SUV is parked next to your vehicle.

  • Abductors use this tactic to grab persons as they are getting into their cars.

When leaving a store alone, NEVER show your keys publicly.

  • This tells a potential attacker that your are alone.

If you are being followed, try going to a place with other people around.

  • Attackers usually want to get you alone. Having other people around may discourage them from attacking you.

NEVER let an attacker take you to a more isolated place.

  • They only want isolation to do you harm.
